Occasionally when I don’t feel like being up in the air, the kick of going on road trips comes into play. I decided to take a road trip to Phoenix and spend a few days at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel. I’ve driven through Arizona before but never actually stopped to explore and see what it is about, so I decided to get away from Los Angeles for a few days and book a room at the Biltmore which seemed to have great reviews, accommodations and a variety of pools and spa services (my favorite). The drive was about 5 hours and 30 minutes and believe me, throughout the road trip I mentioned “I should have flown” but getting a whole different perspective of the surroundings while being on the ground it’s pretty fun, so it was nice change of pace for me.
Beautiful entrance where the Golf Course is to the right hand side – They also offer valet and self park, I highly recommend that you select self parking because you will be saving $26 dollars a day, the self park is on a secure building where your car will be safe, the structure is large and convenient as well. My luggage was dropped off with the Bell man and I made my way for guest registration and check in.
What’s even better even about this Hotel? They recognize Hilton Honors, which is extremely important to me, if you are a Hilton Honors with a good amount of points or wanting to add up those points – this is the place to be. The way I see it, you earn and redeem. The check in was smooth and all of my requests were made, the staff was very friendly. One thing I liked about this hotel it’s that they are pet friendly, so I was able to bring my pup because normally I am not able to bring her during all my long haul trips.
The View as I was walking towards my cottage.
If you are a fan of Golf and like to practice on your putting skills, you will be able to do just that outside your cottage since they have a few putting greens to have some fun – I think it’s an awesome concept and every morning I would go out there and practice my putting skills. It tends to get busy late in the afternoon with the kids trying to play with their families.
I’ve finally arrived into cottage & I am staying on the first floor which is Section D – I’ve stayed at some high end hotels throughout my adventures around the World and I have to say, the set up of my cottage is very impressive and well designed. My family was coming in a few days after to visit so I decided to get a double beds, the room was very spacious and I had my own patio as well.

The Key & it’s benefits around the hotel: Make sure you keep your room key with you at all times. The key will let you have access to the 24 hour gym facility, spa services, tennis courts and the rest of the extra amenities that the hotel has to offer.
Overall, my first impression from the hotel – The staff at every department of the hotel were super friendly and attentive. It is quite a big hotel with plenty of activities to do and amenities to offer for their guest. The selection of restaurants within the facility were impressing because you could have Mexican food in one side, Italian on the other, Sushi, etc. My room was very comfortable and all of my needs and wants were met by the staff right away.
