I took a work trip to Boston 2 weeks ago and I was excited to visit and meet the marketing team from the Sheraton Boston Hotel which is a very popular SPG property in Boston. As an SPG elite, it is always a pleasure to visit new properties and getting to know some of the staff members on duty, especially the brains behind the marketing concept from the property.
Not only did I meet the team but I also got to spend the day at the property and get a tour of it. Throughout my visit I was able to see different areas of the property such as the rooms, fitness center, pool, club lounge, spa and dine in at one of the restaurants of the property. It is a fairly big hotel providing two towers (The north and The South) attracting the business and leisure traveler to stay at their property. Keep in mind the per night rate it’s fairly high but you get what you pay for.
On this blog post I will be doing an overview of the pool and fitness center and show you all what to expect from the installations and everything it offers for the guest.
Sheraton Boston Pool overview
If you visit Boston during the winter and want to swim, there’s nothing to worry about as you will be able to get your swimming done because it is indoors and during the summer the roof can be opened so the sunshine hits this great pool. Within the pool you will also find a variety of sitting available to relax and enjoy along with tables to eat with incase you are with a group of people.

Along the poolside you will also find the sauna which you can access anytime you would like. I think this is an awesome concept to offer for their guest within the fitness center and pool as I am sure many can take advantage of that and it is a great facility to use after a swim or weight training session.
- As advised, please follow the rules of the sauna and don’t exceed the time limit frame of 30 minutes.

If you are a fitness fanatic like myself and depend on your work outs while traveling having a hotel that offers a state of the art fitness center is extremely important and the Sheraton Boston does a great job on offering a great fitness center with a mix of cardiovascular equipment and free weights, a combination of both its a win-win situation for the guest and overall customer satisfaction. Sheraton Boston Hotel Pool & Fitness center bottom line
The Sheraton Boston Hotel offers two great installations for their guest. While it’s not extremely glamorous and fancy I believe it’s still a great facility to take advantage of and use during your stay. The installations are clean, well kept and everything is organized like it should be. From my point of view there’s really nothing that the Sheraton should improve on this two departments though I think they should add several vital fitness equipment that I didn’t get to see in the facility and those are: Resistance bands, bosu ball and most important foam rollers since those 3 items are vital in every fitness center, the foam roller will help the guest release muscle tension and pressure. Last but not least, the fitness center is open 24/7 for the guest.
Have you stayed at this property before? If so, what were your thoughts?
