The Sheraton Seoul D Cube by far has been one of my favorite Starwood properties I’ve had the great pleasure to visit and stay at. Let me begin by saying that during the process of searching for hotels to stay at in Seoul my mind was set on the Sheraton D Cube – my gut feeling said so, I went ahead and booked it and I am so glad I did. The hotel is centrally located to all the major tourist attractions, but at least a 20-30 minute drive is to be expected because of the amount of traffic that Seoul has but it is indeed much better located than the W Seoul Walkerhill which is much further from everything else.
On Today’s installment I will share with you my thoughts and overall experience at the Sheraton Seoul D Cube Deluxe Room which again, it is one of my favorite properties and I can’t wait to return on my next visit to Seoul. Upon arrival to the hotel I was greeted by a few bell man and the ground staff of the hotel – They asked me for my name and I was directed and escorted to the elevators to reach the lobby on the 41st floor of the property and the kind staff wished me a pleasant stay. By asking your name right upon arrival they will facilitate the check in process by making your check in experience faster and effortless.

Upon arrival to the lobby area the friendly employees greeted me with so much kindness and respect that I couldn’t help to smile and feel giddy about it. As an SPG elite I went ahead and checked in, the friendly associate by the name of Cassie got me taken care of within minutes assigning my room on the 35th floor which is the Starwood preferred guest floor – Upgrades were not available but the room had a great city view and the room was comfortable. Shortly after I was on my way to my room to access the room floors as per usual you need to place your key on the security holder before the floor activates.
Sheraton Seoul D Cube – Deluxe Room overview
Upon entering my room I was impressed by the installations of it and how well designed everything was. The room was spacious, comfortable and it had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, a working desk, information about the hotel amenities and room service menu along with a spacious closer to hang my clothes. One thing I notice, there was no safe box within the room which is alarming so I had to lock my valuable belongings on my bag and carry on. Just to be safe.
Within the working desk you will be able to find a variety of charging ports to charge your devises. The television in the room was limited to channels in English though I am not much of a TV person it is worth pointing out that the selection in English isn’t much.

The style of the room was modern and I loved the installations of it. Everything was well organized, clean and the amenities of it were nice. Besides your complimentary waters you will also find your mini bar section along with a tea and coffee pot to make your coffee in the morning, which is complimentary. The hall towards the bedroom was spacious as well providing a rather spacious bench to sit or simply to put your belongings on it. Within the mini bar you will also find a variety of glasses for water and wine.
Sheraton Seoul D Cube – Deluxe Room – Work desk
Near the working desk you will also find a chair to sit – Where you can enjoy the view of the city, get some work done or watch some TV.
The bed was comfortable and spacious, your typical king bed. On both sides of the bed you will find your side tables along with the telephone to make calls and charging ports to charge your devises with zero problems. The pillows were also great and I was able to get some great nights of sleep during my stay. As per usual, to activate the lights and air conditioning for the room you will have to place your key on the key slot of the room for the electricity to be activated.
The room also provides a great size closet to hang your coats, pants and put any other clothing you would like in there. Within the closet you will find an iron board and your typical Sheraton robe and slippers. Not as great as the ones from the W Hotel but they were comfy. No safe box to be found there so keep your valuable belongings safe.
Deluxe Room bathroom overview
The bathroom of the room was nothing fancy but yet comfortable and had everything I needed such as toiletries, a comfortable and big waterfall shower, bath tub, touch screen light switch and a separate section for the toilet. Everything was organized within the bathroom and well kept. The bathroom also provides a soothing mood light feel controlled from the wall.

Sheraton Seoul D Cube Deluxe Room – Bottom line
I was extremely pleased with the room I was assigned and better yet the view it had – I am sucker for City views and everything about the room was comfortable. For those long days of exploring in Seoul and coming back to my room I felt relaxed and comfortable. The staff does a great job on meeting your needs and wants right away. I have requested more waters and a bottle of wine opener and it was delivered to the room in matters of minutes. You can’t go wrong with the Sheraton D Cube as they go far and beyond to provide excellent customer service to meet their guest needs and wants. Everyone at the facility was also extremely attentive and friendly and the Concierge Team works extremely hard on helping you by accommodating the tours and transportation.
This is a hotel I highly recommend to everyone not only because of the great facility but because how well located it is. Within the hotel as I mentioned above you will find two great amenities. On floor B1 you will find a huge shopping plaza and on B2 a great food court featuring all types of food and the prices are economical.
Have you stayed at this property before? If so, how was your experience?
