Incase you missed my first installment about the Sheraton Seoul D Cube City, check out the following link – Thats where I share my thoughts about their deluxe room and overall experience at the property. As I mentioned on my previews post – This hotel became one of my favorite properties to visit and will most likely be a property I will be returning to. Everyone was super friendly, attentive and caring – They truly made my days there well worth it by the great service they provided during my visit.
One of the things I look into a hotel prior to booking it is that they need to have a great pool. Incase you didn’t know – I used to be a big swimmer back in the day, I would breath the sport from the moment I would wake up until I would go to bed, so it is in my blood to find a property that offers a great lap pool. This hotel did not disappoint on that aspect either as their pool was top notch, well kept and their design was stellar, so I will be sharing a few things that you can expect from the property and some of the things they offer pool side.
I was staying on floor number 35 and the pool floor along with several other amenities can be found on floor #28. Keep your room key with you at all times.
Once you have arrived to floor #28 of the property – Make sure you take a right from the elevator as you will be able to find the fit cafe, the staircase towards the gym and pool along with the Aqualis Spa center of the hotel.
As you make your way down the staircase you will find the gym and once arriving to the gym you will take a quick left and then a quick right. Where the locker room will be at and down the hall you will find sighs pointing out towards the pool. This particular section of the property is very big and the way they designed things was phenomenal, so kudos to the Sheraton Team for a well thought out design. Within that section you will also find an area for golf where guest can practice, very cool concept though I didn’t check that section of the hotel.
The pool by far was beautiful and the set up was futuristic specially with those mood lights on the ceiling light up. Mood lights are my favorite and I find it to be a great concept as it relaxes the guest and specially while swimming you sense some sort of soothing vibe through it.
Sheraton Seoul D Cube Pool Overview
The installations of the pool were simple but yet very well organized. You will find recliner chairs on the right hand side of the property followed along with side tables next to it providing a few magazines to read. On the far end of the pool you will find a variety of swimming equipment to use during your visit – Make sure that if you are wanting to use the pool to swim to head out to the swimming office to get a swimming cap as it’s mandatory for you to use one.
Also, a water fountain and towel rack it’s just at the beginning of the pool when entering for those needing a towel and a refreshment of water prior to swimming or afterwards. Green towels are also placed on the recliner chairs as well.
At the end of the pool you will also find the jacuzzi which was extremely relaxing and hot. The jets of the jacuzzi can be turned on at anytime given time you would like. It is a very slippery floor when entering the jacuzzi so make sure you grab on to the handle bars before entering.
Sheraton Seoul D Cube Pool bottom line
I have zero complaints about the pool and everything it offered was spotless and in great condition. Keep in mind, there is no diving allowed on the pool as its fairly shallow and there is no lifeguards on duty. So if you are planning to leave your young ones by the pool, think twice about that ;). The facility also provided beautiful views of Seoul City. The pool also provides great music within the area and staff members are constantly walking around to make sure everything is ok.
I had an absolute great time swimming every morning and bringing back my swimming memories.
