- Overview of The Latest Recipe – Le Meridien Abu Dhabi
To my Spa fanatics, I haven’t forgotten about you so on Today’s installment I am sharing with you my thoughts and review of the Eden Spa at Le Meridien Abu Dhabi. How many of you look into the Spa prior to booking your stay at a particular hotel? I am one of those who frequently does that and I can happily report that the Eden Spa has become one of my favorites. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with spa treatments and a facility dedicated to rejuvenate not only your body but also your mind and soul. Le Meridien Abu Dhabi does a great job on making sure those aspects are taken care of as you step a foot into the facility. So without further a due, lets begin.
The Eden Spa is located towards the pool area, as I previously mentioned on my review of Le Meridien Fitness Center, you are required to check in with the staff on duty, simply by putting your room #, time of arrival and a quick signature. If you are a guest of the property, you will have full access to the premises.

EDEN SPA – LE MERIDIEN
Prior to entering the spa, I would like to share with you what the Eden Spa looks like as it offers a comfortable seating for the guest and visitors. Spa products are also sold here by the brand Elemis – which is one of my favorites. Everything is very well kept, clean and organized and for those wanting to read, a variety of magazines can be found within the area.
So lets begin, shall we? I have to say this spa is unlike any other spa I have seen. The style of the spa is one of a kind and the installations are solid. Needless to say, an incredible place to relax and rejuvenate. My first impression is how clean everything was which for me it’s mandatory and a must as I can be a germaphobe from time to time. Spa are premises that are currently getting high foot traffic by guest and employees so they take great pride on keeping things organized and clean. Like every spa, they have their rules and they need to be followed – so here are some of the rules.
EDEN SPA – RULES
The first thing you will see when getting into the spa is their famous Aquademic pool. The aquademic pool is one of my favorites as it offers a unique approach. Not only a jacuzzi but the pool itself has jets on all sides. This is an incredible concept that I haven’t seen before until now. They recommend a time frame of 15-20 minutes to use the aquademic pool and thats for your own safety as well. Within the pool, you will find several recliner chairs to sit back, relax and unwind. Magazines are also within the side tables if you are looking for some material to read throughout your time at the spa.
Eden Spa has a unique design, which boasts 10 Spa treatment rooms and you can indulge in 40 treatments from around the world for face and body. The Spa also offers a wide variety of treatments that engages your body, mind and soul.
Eden Spa uses the popular marine range of Phytomer and natural range of Sundari for the face and body care that is natural and eco friendly to help you re-energize and deserve the results you crave for. (Via: Le Meridien Abu Dhabi).
GUEST WAITING AREA – EDEN SPA
The treatments that Eden Spa offers range from European to Asian massages, facials and is referred as the most admired one-stop destination for the unique Ayurveda and oriental massages including Thai, Chinese, and Shiatsu and Balinese therapies.
Now here is my favorite part of the Eden Spa – The jacuzzi. I have a habit after every gym session is to enjoy a cold jacuzzi followed by a hot jacuzzi, for me it’s like therapy and keeps my body injury free. The Eden Spa showcases a unique installation that will leave many of the guest speechless for what it offers. This particular area is what I consider it to be “Zen area” where you can relax, disconnect from the world and just not think about anything else but living in the present moment specially with the amenities being offered to you, the guest.
JACUZZI ZONE – EDEN SPA
The jacuzzi of the Eden Spa offers an exclusive experience for the guest. They are rules to follow before using the premises and it also offers a relaxing/resting room where you can use at any given time during your visit. They recommend you change, shower and then use the jacuzzis. Keep in mind they are a variety of them to use and they vary. Cold and hot are the top ones along with the other ones being offering a unique concept in them. As far as showers go, you will find two of them within this particular area.
Of course, the first I noticed is how clean everything was. It is important to keep premises like this clean for the guest being that it’s an area of the installation that gets high foot traffic during peak hours.

THE JACUZZIS – EDEN SPA LE MERIDIEN
One of my favorite features of the jacuzzi is that it offers mood lightings. Mood lights is one of my favorite features when flying as it sets in a very relaxing mood. The jacuzzi lights are frequently changing to different colors from time to time and thats definitely a soothing feeling for some. Throughout the jacuzzi area you will find the the steam room which is something I use quite frequent and you can’t go wrong with it.
THE EDEN SPA – BOTTOM LINE
Needless to say, The Eden Spa at Le Meridien Abu Dhabi it’s an incredible facility and a big department in the property. It is well kept, designed and spacious for the guest and visitors to enjoy and disconnect for a few hours. After my evaluation of the facility, I don’t see much that they have to improve or integrate into the spa though I believe on the jacuzzi section they should put a water zone area where the guest can stay hydrated throughout their time in there incase they happen to stay more time there than normal. The guest comfort is important and I know some aren’t willing to leave the jacuzzi to walk all the way to the front of the spa for a cup of water. That would be my only proposition for them to keep in mind.
If you are resident in Abu Dhabi, Le Meridien offers a membership package – for more info on that, visit the following link for more information (read more).
